Vital Foods are committed to producing natural, scientifically supported, kiwifruit nutraceutical products to help people lead healthier and more vibrant lives.
Vital Foods began in 1991 with one simple product, Kiwi Crush, made from a totally natural ingredient, kiwifruit.
Realising the huge potential of kiwifruit in the nutraceuticals arena the company continued to develop kiwifruit based products with a core focus on refining and improving the digestive health properties of its kiwifruit powder, Zyactinase.
In 2007 a significant research project was undertaken to prove the safety and efficacy of Zyactinase in digestive health. The results of the safety testing and clinical trials were outstanding and set the platform for Vital Foods to launch the digestive health brand Phloe Healthy Bowel.
